Join us for a 2-day pottery workshop to create your own Mushroom Dish. With a few tips and tools, learn the basics of rolling out clay, joining slabs and adding texture to build a raised dish for jewelry or soap. During the first day we will hand-build our piece using various textures and carving techniques. During the second, shorter session we will glaze our dish. Pottery will be fired after each class by the instructor and available for pick up approximately 1 week after final class date. We will be using a mid-fire cone 5 clay and a variety of food-safe glazes. No pottery experience is needed and all materials and tools will be provided. Class size maximum of 6 participants. Ages 18+ only.

CLASS LOCATION:
Three Leaf Farm, 445 S. 112th St., Lafayette, CO 80026. Outdoor classroom setting if weather permits.

DRESS:

Please dress to enjoy the weather, the property and to get a little messy in clay. Closed-toed footwear is required.

DAY OF:
Please arrive 5-10 min before class begins to park and walk to workshop location on Farm. Ample parking is available to the east of the horse barn behind the yellow garage. Please do not park in front of the barn. Class location on the farm will be determined by weather and class size but we strive to spend time outdoors at this lovely working farm. Bottled water and light snacks will be available and you’re welcome to bring your own lunch/snacks..

CANCELLATIONS:
Due to the supplies and prep needed for these customized workshops, cancellations made within 2 weeks of the workshop are non-refundable for any reason.
